As I am following the traditions of the pure ukiyo-e style, I continue to work on a series of “Edo Bijin” — beautiful women of the Edo period. To enhance the autumn atmosphere in this piece, I included bush clover flowers and Japanese pampas grasses, both symbolic of fall.
