1974
Becomes a founding member of the Japan Representational Art Society. The first exhibition of the Japan Representational Art Society is held at Ueno Royal Museum. Exhibits “Maiko,” which wins the bronze prize.
1975
Exhibits “Shizuka’s Dance” at the second exhibition of the Japan Representational Art Society, and wins the members’ top prize. Becomes a member of the board of trustees.
1976 The venue for the third exhibition of the Japan Representational Art Society is moved to the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum. Exhibits two pieces: “Dance” and “Nostalgia.” Receives the members top award. Holds a solo exhibition, “Goyoh Ohtake Bijinga Exhibition,” in Akita City.
1977
Exhibits “Ode to the Milky Way” at the fourth Japan Representational Art Society exhibition. Receives the president’s award.
“Nostalgia” purchased by the Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum.
1978 Exhibits “Plaintive Moonlight” at the fifth Japan Representational Art Society exhibition, and receives the Seifu Tsuda award. Becomes a director of the Japan Representational Art Society.
1979
Exhibits two pieces, “Fashion Show" and “Ichiume, the Maiko,” at the sixth exhibition of the Japan Representational Art Society.
“Fashion Show” wins the Japanese Minister of Education’s award.
Becomes a member of the Japan Artists’ Association.
1980
Exhibits “Wind in the Pine Trees” at the seventh Japan Representational Art Society exhibition. Retires from the Japan Representational Art Society. “Goyoh Ohtake Bijinga Exhibition” held in the art gallery of the Odakyu Department Store in Fujisawa in commemoration of Goyoh’s receipt of the Minister of Education’s award.
